Originally trained as an architect, Fewer graduated with honours from the Crawford College of Art. She lives and works in Cork and often spends time on Heir Island.
These paintings bring attention to the metaphorical power of the sea, shoreline, and forest. Working with the above elements as a place of threshold – a place of change – Angela’s works are observances of the fleeting and the sublime. Her works affirm the continuous transformation of natural processes and our continued contemporary place within them. Her manipulations of space and structure render still moments between abstraction and representation.
