Leonard Sheil – Catherine Hammond Fine Arts

Leonard Sheil is interested in creating non-traditional painting where time, interactions of materials, and spontaneous marks create a work of depth and poetry. He is frequently drawn to themes of water and boats. Educated at the Dun Laoghaire College of Art and Design, Sheil has shown extensively in Dublin, and has had several solo shows at the Catherine Hammond Gallery and in Austria where he lives and works.
