Inspired by the North Mayo landscape she frequently visits, Canty captures the constant changes of wind and weather in the Irish landscape in her oil paintings. Originally from Limerick, Canty studied at NCAD and has a studio in Dublin. She shows regularly at the RHA Annual Show, in London at the Annual Summer Show at the Royal Academy and other juried shows.
