Tim Goulding is equally at home in abstract and representational forms of expression. Painting is akin to keeping a journal for him and he likes to work in series inspired by new themes using new technique and different styles. From year to year, his style and themes can change dramatically.
Goulding was born in Dublin in 1945 and has lived and worked near Allihies on the Beara peninsula, West Cork since 1969. He is a member of Aosdana. Since 1964 he has exhibited extensively, including solo shows in Ireland, England, Portugal and the USA.
